Application Process
Complete your APP application to become APP-certified.
Our application review process generally takes 2-3 months. Accepted applications need to be approved by the Prevention Specialist Certification Board of Washington (PSCBW) at a full board meeting.
Please use the current APP application above and follow the instructions contained in the application. When you are ready to submit documents to apply for an APP, please fill out the Intent to Apply For APP form to receive your personal Google Folder.

NOTE: The APP is not eligible for reciprocity with the IC&RC. The APP certificate is issued for a three-year period. An APP must show progress toward attaining the necessary ‘training’ and ‘work experience’ required to become a CPP before their APP expiration date .
